Buzzword – what is It, should I enter it in my UCAS, and how to change it?

Every organisation that offers help in applying to British universities, has their own unique buzzword. It’s a “password” that lets you connect your UCAS application to a certain organisation (such as UniEdu - Smart Prospects!), thanks to which they can assist you in the entire process.

What happens if I enter buzzword in my UCAS application?

After entering our buzzword in your UCAS account, your application is automatically connected to our accredited UCAS centre*. From now on, we can always:

  • check your application and let you know if there’s any error;
  • help you regain access to your account in case you forgot/lost your password;
  • solve any problem regarding your application on your behalf (but only if you let us do so).

However, we cannot change anything in your application (as we simply have no access to it!) and when it comes to your personal information, you can count on our full confidentiality.
